Mail Officer (Warehouse Operator / Walkie Stacker)

Programmed Skilled Workforce Central West are seeking a motivated and safety-focused Mail Officer (Warehouse & Walkie Stacker Operator) to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting warehouse operations by operating load-shifting equipment and ensuring parcels and mail are efficiently handled and processed.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:00pm – 7:51pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate walkie stackers and other load-shifting equipment (such as hand pallet devices) safely and efficiently
  
• Load and unload mail from bags, trays, containers, and metal cages (Unit Loading Devices)
  
• Work collaboratively with operations staff to ensure timely and accurate processing of parcels
  
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area at all times
  
• Perform closing responsibilities on Fridays
  

About You:

• Experience operating a walkie stacker or similar equipment (training provided)
  
• Forklift Licence (required)
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
  
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to following procedures
  
• Team-oriented with good communication skills
